"I found this book through a free preview on stanza on my iPhone; originally intending for a little something for light reading and was immediately captivated by the story of this fragile little boy. A story of a child in a world he isn't grown enough to be able to understand placed in a situation where maybe that very inability is the very strength that can save him and the world. I couldn't set this book down for a second after setting eyes on the first page and cried out in frustration when the preview ended and immediatly purchased it and read all the way through. A truly irresistible read I loved it from beginning to end and wait ever so impatiently for the next installment in the series."

"Got to say this was probably some of the best fantasy fiction I have read in awhile. I was a little skeptical seeing it at the KC Renaissance Festival, but I bought it and loved it. Definitely getting the next one in October!"

Rowan of the Wood is the type of book that makes you want to sit down and read it over and over again. It's full of lush imagery, strong character development, and the beauty of traditional and original Celtic myth...Reading Rowan of the Wood with my children led us all to want to further explore the world of Celtic myth and magic, and we're waiting in anticipation for the release of the next book in this series in October!

"Rowan of the Wood is the hybrid book which the fantasy genre has been sorely lacking. It successfully manages to bridge the gap between the world of Harry Potter, Twilight, and Celtic lore. In the beginning Cullen's story seems eerily reminiscent to Harry Potter due to the similarities of both being mistreated orphans, but that is where the similarities end. The authors bring you fully into each of the characters worlds using beautiful imagery and in-depth character development, each character is so charming it is hard to pick a favorite. I even found myself rooting at times for the evil Fiana! Each characters story is totally captivating but none loses interest when their worlds meet, instead the plot intensifies and draws the reader further in. The twist ending leaves the reader waiting with baited breath for the next installment of this series.
Rowan of the Wood does not disappoint."

"I totally enjoyed the tale of Rowan and his lost love. I adored Cullen, and his family reminded me of Roald Dahl's Matilda. It was wonderfully written -- I can see why my son favors it over Harry Potter. Mind you, he is a bit of a Druid at heart! I'm so happy I waited until now to read it, because I won't have long to wait for the sequel :O)"

"I thought it was terrific! I almost read it straight through but had to stop to get some much needed sleep. At the end I wanted to read more....Your books are sure to be family favorites. I am glad that I got to meet you both before you become famous and less accessible...Thanks a bunch for being you and expressing yourselves so well in your first book."
- Ellie Hayes

"I just finished reading Rowan of the Wood. My husband and I purchased your book at the Florence Renaissance Faire. When I began reading I knew that I would not want the book to end. What an adventure! I am 62 years old and I enjoyed every word of it. I cannot wait until the next book is written. Thanks for sharing your imagination with the world. Huzzah!! "

"Rowan of the Wood was an incredibly wonderful book to read. I just got it last weekend at Middlefaire and it is so amazing, the summary on the back doesn't do it justice. I sincerely wish you two all the happiness and success in the world. Though it has a nasty habit of torturing the reader, it certainly kept me turning the pages. This is BY FAR one of my most favorite books of all time...Thank you so much for writing it, it has been a true gift to read."
